I would have more faith in a guy like Bellinger figuring it out compared to Judge over the long term. Bellinger has the history of being a high contact hitter and though he comes off as a stand-in for Bill & Ted's Excellent Adventure, he's actually a strong student of the game and seems to take his improvement extremely seriously.

Look, there are players who you say suck and call names because you're pissed they're playing poorly and desperately want them to return to glory. Then there are players who actually suck. Logan is one of those guys who actually sucks. He needs to go.

My ideal deadline has Grandal and Forsythe gone with Realmuto and 2 back-end relievers in return. Both have overstayed their welcome in my book.

At least Grandal fulfilled his purpose, though. He came at a time when our organizational catching depth was bone dry and put up positive WAR seasons with power and pitch framing. He was good for what he was supposed to be. Logan has done nothing.

I agree though. I'm over Grandal. The lows are too low and the highs are too brief. Don't have the cash right now to put up with dead weight.

Did anyone catch Cody standing in the dugout after the HR and Puig came over and slapped him hard in the chest? Some goofy sort of "nice going" gesture, I imagine. Didn't go over well with he kid at all.
Belli was flat out pissed at him for doing it, shook his head, and walked away..

Judge has one of the most unique combinations of power and patience of all time, with exit velocity numbers only compatible to Stanton.

I like both long term but it’s not like they got called up a week ago, Judge has ~1,000 PA’s sample size in the majors.

Logan does serve a purpose though...as long as he is around, he is the guy on the team who is way worse than anybody else when they're in a terrible slump.
As fans, he is always the guy that makes the slumpee, however bad it may get at any given time ,"not as bad as"...

Judge also currently has a .950 OPS. I don't know why we're comparing Judge's ability to figure it out to CB's ability to figure it out, but yeah, just saying. Judge is no dummy. He's fairly well rounded.

It’s probably why the team loves having Puig around. Lots of the team fucks up on the bases and they probably point and say “well, Puig fucks up more!”
