Maybe this is all for show, though.... Gonzo could also have a setback and go back to being a viable 22MM insurance claim too....
if adrian comes back healthy and productive it would be a huge boost but i'm also wary that father time has caught up with him with a big lead we can afford to give him some at bats to see what he's got but yeah, forsythe has been a huge disappointment taylor should be in there every day, lf 2b wherever and barnes (who can also can play 2b) should get more pt too
My immediate reaction/ answer is " no"! But, I think Cingrani can equal Romo and even surpass him in suckitude level. I honestly do... I get the LH thing, but not this one. When we played them, I used to hope that he was warming up to come in. I'm not crazy about Avilan or even Dayton anymore, but I think them both better than he is. We'll see.
A few people have mentioned the idea of AGonz essentially replacing Forsythe in the lineup. I'm definitely for trying it out, I'm just hyper-cautious about getting my hopes up. Adrian came into the season with a bad back, and if he can't be fresh at the beginning of the year I don't have high hopes that resting midseason will be any better. Logically, I still see him in a PH role. He can receive a cortisone injection in the 5th-6th inning and be good to pinch hit late. My heart wants to see him regain form and be a starter, and it's worth a shot; but until I see it happen I'm going to assume it won't work.
They are better than him. Even though Dayton has really stunk lately. Liberatore who isn't even coming back this year is better than him, Paredes is better than him. There are some RHP's that have killer #'s vs lefties, Ross Stripling and Pedro Baez, to names couple
Those shots aint good for your heart man, or your CNS. Doubt Adrian trying to make that a regular thing. He dont love the game that much.
cingrani reminds me of this shit lhp we used to have couldn't remember the guy's name then it just came to me... ed vande berg anyone remember that hack?
Bad debut NO DOUBT but his 1st game with a new team who happens to 500X better then the team he came from so he tried too hard. Honey will fix him, if not he's a goner and he only cost us SVS and Clementina who is blocked by 3 other catcher's.
First game with a new team, new catcher and put into the game in a spot where his main objective was to throw strikes. Let's judge if (or when) he fucks up a game which is in doubt.
