Pretty good for a lefty specialist who is not a power hitter and only gets hits when it doesnt count Or you know, 2017 when he is the opposite of that. A righty specialist with power who gets some timely hits out of the worst spot in the lineup to contribute. Yet he still finds ways to help the team win. And as good as he has been with the bat this year he is STILL more valuable to the team with what he does in the field. He saves tons of runs on a variety of levels and helps almost every position on his side of the field field better. Im sure he is inspiring Joc to get his ass in gear so he doesnt get Verdugoed soon.
Can we get Stripling a normal number please? Every time he comes into a game he turns it into spring training
Whiffing isn't uncommon in today's game was speaking more about his defense which has been pretty bad and bad after his thumb. I just want an excuse to put him on the DL so I can see us call up Kyle Farmer.
One of the many reasons I hate the ASG break, is this exact bullshit we are watching. Functioning like a finely tuned machine, that garbage comes up to bring it to a halt, and now we look discombobulated...not saying it is chronic, but I just rather we kept rollin along like we were.
