Yes, a good win. Still, this Mets team isn't really that good at all. Seeing LA struggle in September like this ... welp, we've seen this shit before. I'm not optimistic.

    But I'll take it.

Don't buy this offense getting further than the LCS. Not with Bellinger and Seager leading the way. Don't care if Corey had an RBI tonight. The swing and approach are putrid.

That said, they clinched HFA in the NLDS with the win tonight. Pitching looking a little better.

Muncy has to get up to speed and Turner needs to return to health.

In other words, aging veterans (albiet good ones) and diamond in the rough/random white guy greatness players have to cover the asses of our so-called franchise players like Corey, Cody, Clayton and Kenley.

Didn’t get a chance to watch the game so looking over highlights. Ummmm that K by Jansen on Rosario.... that was vintage Kenley, 95 and still had INSANE cut to it. Whatever the fuck he did, he needs to just keep doing that.

It's funny ... you and I have been arguably the bleakest fans in here (not a rip, just being honest) and I was just musing on whether this team will ACTUALLY surprise me and win it all. If that happens (and I do not expect it to happen believe me), I was thinking it would be Freese or Russel Martin who come out of the old white man mists to deliver the team to the title.

Going back 40 years ... I was thinking about how those two piles of shit, Bucky Dent & Brian Doyle, buried LA in 1978. If those two losers could do that then ... it isn't beyond the realm of possibility for this team to earn back something from unexpected sources.

what if he is taking the long road towards rebuilding his swing and will have his full swing when its time to get in the swing of things?

That's two vintage Kenley appearances in a row.

    Fingers crossed.

    Lol.
I thought you might get your apocalyptic Kenley scenario last night, but he was as good as he ever was...along with Ryu the other night. Also, the initially annoying Buehler, turned into utter dominance before he was lifted.
I wonder exactly what the thing was with Ferris and Robots, who did push all the right buttons. Last night.
Still can't help wondering is anything being observed and/or worked on with Belinger, who has metamorphosed into a different player offensively, it seems.
So, if it is being addressed, I guess it's top secret nato crypto.

I think Walker was just mad he gave up those runs in the second. Probably felt he should have gotten out of the inning.

i fully expected roberts to march kenley back out there, especially when we took the lead
but he made the right call letting kenley come out (homo) on a good note
