I look forward to seeing Hill back in action tonight, followed by a weekend series with the Mets that should give us an indication of where we are. Great pitching matchups in NY.
This was a sincere post. Was waiting for it to change but it was genuinely sincere.
Dodger O’s sounds like a cereal
Also I got the opportunity to go to Dodgers BP tomorrow in New York. Definitely excited even though 10 years ago me would’ve been 100 times more so. Kind of different when you’re older than half the team lol.
The breakfast of Failures
Don't tell joc.
Do you have a legit shot at making the playoff roster? Please find a way to injure Kenley
Watching all the contenders, outside of the Cubs maybe, they all are playing excellent baseball.
Especially the Mets. They are clicking on all cylinders, way too well for our staff to handle, anyway.
Going in with the newly" hit me hard" Ryu, a tired and worn Kershaw, a Jekyl and Hyde Buehler and a huge question mark Hill, I don't think we shut anyone down. Hill may be able to go a few innings, but little else, imo.
The Bellinger problem is nothing new at all, and the stupid nine iron swing at down and in pitches, resulting in no contact or a flat out K, was posted about a month ago. And.if I saw it and wrote about it, then I guess the coaches definitely saw it, and think it not serious and worth changing. Either way, it spells big zero, along with really disappointing blatant inconsistency from the rest of the lineup. Very concerning.
There must be a reason, that Davey Robots, a smilin' fool all year long, has become, at the very point of clinching the west, dour faced and the antithesis of what he was earlier. Very odd.
I can guess why...
I think Bluemouse is one of the few non-cynical posters out here
I always like reading his and Doughtys optimistic posts
Just watching the end of this Cubs Padres game on MLB Network. I will take our chances on Seager getting healthy and recovering next year instead of paying 300 million dollars to Manny Machado to have a .330 obp .460 slg and a .256 BA. That's on top of being an idiot.
I'll gladly take Rendon this off-season. Though I doubt the F.O. would do it, he's an elite RH bat. Would instantly be our best hitter.
I'm no doc, but he's hurt. Hope I'm wrong.
He broke off a couple of nice pitches there, but the command is non-existent. Nice try, but I think Hill would be better suited as a panelist on MSNBC than a baseball player, moving forward. Same with his wife and manager.
Dave might be in Grady Little, DBB territory.
No instincts whatsoever.
I would take Dusty Baker over MOTY winners Dave Roberts or Joe Maddon any day of the week.
Man, Corey and Cody's swings are just absolutely horrible.
his knee was bothering him so that can maybe be taped up and shot up
still like him as a lefty weapon out of the bp
Fuuuuuuck that sucks if Hill is still hurt. Was his knee. Good to see Lux getting a hit
Poor fucker can't catch a break.
