Giants fans have reached a new low. Just saw one post that he's rooting for the Rockies to sweep the Giants because he wants them to win the division over us. Lol
There's a reason Cleveland is the brunt of everyone's jokes. Cincy has Kentucky close by so it's a cunthair better but it's still an Ohio cunt. One time I drove from Cleveland to Detroit and I was happy AF to get there, what does that tell you?
I can't believe how many people (not necessarily here) were content in the possibility of not bringing back Kenley and Turner. It was almost assumed they wouldn't come back, and was suprising that they did. I dont want to imagine the Dodgers without them. They are so damn good. Gagne/Beltre .... a decade of crap ... Kenley/Turner. I feel real happy to have a legit 3B and releif ace. Edit...gotta give love to Guerra/Hairston. What a 3B/closer combo.
I was one of those people. I assumed we would bring one back, not both. I was ok with not bringing Kenley back ☹️ I was wrong. I was also ok with not signing Rich Hill because I figured he'd continue to have blister problems connected with his new curveball. Then when we signed him I figured it was ok since the FO has more information than I do. I was wrong.
but if hill suddenly gets it together toward the end of the year and wood and mehcarthy keep it together w ryu and maeda in long relief...
Yeah, it is low as we look at it. But exquisite hatred such as this has to be validated, because I guess we just can't imagine that feeling about the Dodgers. I look at a reverse situation, and wonder if I wouldn't feel something similar...but there is something that repels me from wishing the Dodgers lose, at any time. However, being driven to this because of how SF is playing is desperately sad and at the same time, heartwarming.
That's all I'm hoping for right now, but he's a total fucking mess. The FO even said that as long as he is pitching like he can come playoff time, that's all that matters to them. I'm beyond frustrated with his play this year, but he has sprinkled in glimmers of hope a couple times where he seems to get his mechanics in check for an inning or two and then falls apart again. Maybe when Brock is ready to go, they can mystery DL Hill and send him to AZ for a couple weeks just to get his mechanics in check.... also gives us a chance to see Brock as a potential 5 with Ryu and Maeda in the pen if Hill can come back ready to go. Lots of "ifs" in there, but in the event Hill does figure things out, this team could get scary down the stretch.
Yeah, it's weird to see such a defeated attitude in June. If it's late in the season and you're that far out of it, I get it. Fuck your rival. Last season and in 2013, we found ourselves down a lot of games in the standings and ended up winning the division comfortably both years. But I think we all thought both teams were underachieving and had a run in them. Maybe SF fans just feel they suck and there's no hope for the season. I would feel pretty miserable if all hope for the Dodgers was zapped before the all star break.
i was never content with it i just assumed there was no way we'd sign them both and hill i figured it would be one of the three was elated we signed them all -- showed the nerds wanted to keep the core together only disappointment so far has been hill (obviously) and like others have said, he only needs to find it again and very well could
