Hatcher is a body out there, and fills out the bp. There was periods where he wasn't used at all, and I give Dave credit for staying away as much as possible. He's a rally for the opponents waiting to happen. Seems to me, if you're saying he only gave up a harmless homer, and that's the good thing about him, then he is basically not doing his job, no matter what the score or kind of game it is. Just my tuppence. As far as the guy who hit it, I think he's not going to K every AB, Arrennado just too good to stay down for too long. Hatcher is the kind of guy that will get a hitter right. Nice game by Kazmir, and really good RISP action from the offense. Good game for us.
A lot of them are like that actually. I saw little skinny Juan Pierre in a T shirt once, and the guy was simply ripped...never woulda thought it.
