For those of us who came from the ESPN forums recently (Thank you Knock) I thought it might be nice to have a thread were we can tell each other who we are/were. Now, don't go getting all sentimental and telling your life story that's not what this is about. Just a simple reply such as: --On ESPN's forums I was incognitus77. I'm glad to be here, feels like a good crowd. Thanks to Knock for showing us the way.-- If you'd like to add a bit more feel free of course but I just noticed that some of us have changed names and I thought it might be nice to know who's who. Also, if you're thinking to yourself, "Who the fuck is incognitus77?" I lurk. I have for years. I rarely post. I visit the forums multiple times a day but generally just to read.
We should have one of these threads for previous DSP usernames. Of course reason would need about 100000 posts to list them all.
We already know all of the ex-dsp usernames, as we all kept the same!!!! STOP TRYING TO MOD THIS FORUM!!!!!
Maybe I was wrong. The only people to respond didn't change anything. I could have sworn I saw some posts in the other ESPN thread that I didn't recognize. Oh well, I'm over it. Next question is when are people actually going to start posting? Are you all intimidated by the new board? The DSP vets seem pretty welcoming. Hell, I got more responses from them in this thread than anyone else.
Most of the guys posted on the other ESPN thread and didn't change their name which helped. I would of been confused as shit.
i'm wondering the same thing. but i guess it takes a minute to get used to the vibe of a board. i noticed new guys posting in the game threads and thats a great place to start. just don't expect everyone to respond to or like posts since they are all going through their own ups and downs w the game. we often say around here that the game threads aren't reality and its not for everyone. but pretty much anything goes and its usually about laughs. we all have established identities here but its really great to have the new blood. all the avatars show me you are some sick fuckers or at least core dodger fans so you fit right in. go ahead and jump in.
Hardly. I'm working 60 hours a week and THEN I caddie on Sunday. Maybe next month things will slow down a bit. Maybe.
