    Jansen and Maeda have pretty much been pitching at the same level this year so it's wait and see for me. Not only hasn't this season been Jansen's best, but he's been between the 20-30th best reliever in baseball this season. His K/9 is 10 - down from 13, and his xFIP is trash - good for 46th among relievers. We've watched him pitch and the numbers certainly reflect what we've seen this season. He hasn't been nearly as good. We'll see who steps up in his absence, but maybe this time away will get him back to being on an irreplaceable level.

    And no matter how much they shop him, as long as he keeps embarrassing LAD, he will remain in the LAD uni. Puig has it figured out. Lol Well, at least until he turns free agent..he might find himself running dope for jefe Hanley after that

    This fucker is a serial underachiever, his play in RF aside.

    He has the physical gifts go 30 HRs/100 RBI most years and yet the coaching staff and FO see fit to hit him in the minimal pressure 8 hole. He should be a perennial All Star and one of the best all around players in the game, but he fails well short of that. It's a shame.

    "It doesn't happen with other teams, and it doesn't seem to happen when we're in San Francisco," Puig said. "It usually seems to happen when we're here, and I'm not going to let them act like that in our house."
