    i remember that as well
    they were so raucous after delarosa's hr
    and that one at bat by loney killed any/all mojo they had
    i remember standing up and yelling when it went out
    talk about a great 2 out/2 strike at bat
    great memories...

    Love watching that. It's insane how quickly that crowd shut up, and they really never recovered the rest of the series. It's like the goat, Bartman, and Loney all kicked them in the nuts at once.

    I'm thinking about going to Washington for games 1 and 2. Bad idea, right? It's like flushing money down the toilet if they lose.

    Was gonna go with my wife. Roundtrip airfare leaving LA on Thursday and returning Sunday looks pretty cheap and the tickets for the LDS are dirt cheap in Washington. Can sit behind the dugout for like 150. Those tickets are a grand at Dodger Stadium. So the cost isn't prohibitive. I don't think we're gonna do it though. Don't wanna waste a trip to Washington DC and not have time to do anything other than watch the games.

    DC will be there later (don't watch Designated Survivor LOL) and you'll have awesome memories. Some great steaks to be had out there as well. ;)

    Does Washington know they have a team? I realize the weather was not ideal today, but there was like 8 people in the stands.

    there's a reason why the senators (ie, rangers) moved from dc 44 years ago
