3rd game in 4 nights against a young/talented squad..it was a tough one and an easy one for them to just lay down in being that they started the trip 2-0, but they played hard for Luke, good shit. Having depth helps as well, the guys that play hard get to play a little more, creates a little competition, see where everyone's character is in a tough spot
I said we would be at around the 40-42 win mark and would challenge for an 8th seed. Just wait till we get Anthony Davis. That would propel us to be as good as any team in the NBA.
DLooooooooooooooooooooooooading already 4 three pointers, not even close to the end of the 1st quarter. Mozzy with the 20 footer, go ahead take a step back and knock down the trey DLo a 5th three pointer...might be a magical ice in the veins night You think Randle needed to improve his jumper?...Nance can't shoot for shit, hitch in his shot and everything
Mozzy gets dunked on by some Euro Lol This Euro is killing LAL Randle with 7 assists in the 1st half, DLo with 6 rebounds..both might mess around and have a triple double
W, 7-5 Would not have won w/o Tarik Black's effort in spots Randle, triple double, 17-14-10 Ingram, clutch O and D, excellent 2 way play late Mozzy, 20pts/6reb DLo, 30pts/8reb/4ast Spurs up next...just give us the L.
LAL sending Zubac to the D-league..he's probably about to become a D-league legend Lol I like it, he needs to play a lot and he's not ready for real show, hasn't looked confident at all the few times he's gotten into the game. Plus, Tarik Black is playing very well.
Los Angeles LakersVerified account @Lakers Luke Walton on D'Angelo Russell: "His biggest growth will come from getting better at the little things." Like his lazy ass passes at times. Shit drives me crazy. A good portion of his tipped passes get recovered by LAL, but 3-4 seconds are burned off the shot clock while they recover those shits, then having to reinitiate the offense - which they don't always do
Los Angeles LakersVerified account @Lakers OFFICIAL: After recording 13 points and two blocks in 23 minutes last night, the Lakers have recalled @ivicazubac from @DFenders.
no russell tonight and maybe longer / sore knee but the heart of the squad still there and they battled back from early trouble nice to always feel like they have a run in them
Yeah thats sucks. I think DLo banged his knee up at the very end of the previous game on some silly ass play involving Mozzy Spurs playing some smart D, shocker
Right in this game w/o leading scorer DLo, that depth. Oh well, good effort..competitive/entertaining game, 7-6
agreed showing they can compete with the league's best yes a loss but encouraging nonetheless one bad quarter and like you said without d'angelo
Baxter HolmesVerified account @BaxterHolmes 13h13 hours ago Jordan Clarkson on Lakers’ upcoming schedule (Chicago, OKC, then GSW twice): “We ain’t scared." Lol Nice to see, but you don't have to be scared to take a L CHI-OKC-GSW-GSW-ATL..I'd be OK with getting 2 wins there, 3 wins would be great At least they're at home for all but one of those
Boy these MF Lakers are a hell of a watch. Lou with like 15pts in a 2 minute span Nance is all over the damn place and Ingram lookin nice They're gonna have to tell some top free agents to fuck off after this season
