Nobody is going to want this version of Luol Deng. Mozgove has been spotty but he's also been a little beat up and it seems like he takes a shot to the head very night. Wonder if we could sell high on the 1st half of Lou Williams. I don't want to trade him but since we are re-building why not get a draft pick back. D-Lo and Young are back!!!
knicks have a pretty good team imagine if the most over rated player in the history of the nba actually played team ball porizingis was a steal
Man, if LAL doesn't win tonight rock bottom will be confirmed This stretch has been grueling Need Tarik Black back
NEW YORK -- Lakers coach Luke Walton challenged his players after the team suffered its eighth straight loss Wednesday night in Brooklyn, dropping Los Angeles to 10-18. "He raised his voice. He got his point across today," Lakers guard Nick Youngsaid of Walton, a first-year coach. "Just mentally being soft and calling us out. We got to step up to the plate. I know I'm not soft. My teammates aren't soft, so we got to show him and prove ourselves." Lakers forward Larry Nance Jr. pointed out that Walton, known for his laid-back demeanor, has raised his voice before. "Luke is a player's coach, but he can get onto us," Nance said. Walton pointed out after his team's 107-97 defeat how the Lakers squandered "little moments in the game that I felt we could've made a little distance and we casually approached as a group." He added: "As a group, as a team, we've got a lot to learn about winning and how hard it is. It's frustrating, but it's where we're at. It's like I told the guys, we're going to find a way out. When that is, time will tell." The young Lakers, who are led by the league's youngest head coach in the 36-year-old Walton, have struggled with injuries following their surprising 9-7 start after posting a franchise-worst 17-65 record last season. "He came in, said what he said, and it was just a challenge," said Lakers guardD'Angelo Russell. "The best thing about it is we got practice [Thursday]. We get to see who really takes what he says and goes with it and who takes what he says and it goes through one ear and out the other."
Here is the article to go with that clip......it is absolutely HILARIOUS!!! http://sports.yahoo.com/news/larry-...tml?soc_src=mail&soc_trk=ma&hl=1&noRedirect=1
Glad the streak is over, but that was some ugly basketball. They desperately need Russell to develop into a pure point.
They don't want that for him, have said as much. He's too good a shooter, has too much of a size advantage at the position to not be an aggressive scorer. He can be labeled " point guard ", but he's a lead guard in reality, a Penny Hardaway type that'll score 17-18ppg, get 6-7 assists and 4-5 rebounds.
Russel is Ok with the ball. I think Ingram will be Ok in a year or two. What they really need is for randle, Ingram and Nance to develop reliable outside shots.
DLo definitely pisses me off at times with his lazy passes. He has to grow out of that..just care more. Its OK to care, you dont lose cool points for making crisp passes and giving a fuck or two
Don't know much about Ball, but if I were LAL I'd be looking for a young Fisher type that can hit an open shot and truly play solid D at the PG position. They tried for Mike Conley, but we know what happened there..30MM a year kept him in Memphis. Lol They've got to play some damn defense..I keep seeing these Tony Allen/LAL trade rumors and he can't shoot for shit, but he defends and competes to say the least. TA might be a good guy to have around this group..maybe swap he and Deng
