    They had a road run earlier in the season that could've taken this turn, but they got lucky and pulled out a couple Game 3 wins in the series and Mattingly ended up avoiding the hot seat questions, but not so lucky now

    They don't have a bullpen, 3/5 of the pitching staff aren't pitching well, and they're not hitting.

    Letting Hanley go and kicking Kemp to the curb was just one shoe...now the other shoe needs to drop. Need to drop all these old bums in the winter however they have to do it and get some young, energetic guys up with a new manager and new hitting coach.

    I mean Mattingly, McGwire, Crawford, Ethier, Rollins, Ellis, Utley, Peralta and any other old head not named AGon or Howie Kendrick needs to go. Perhaps Turner can stay, but that's it.
