The report today is that the feeling is that they would need to eat a lot of his contract. I don't know how you do that deal as if it was me, I would offer Puig, want them to take Kazmir and Ryu, then offer them one of Verdugo/Pederson, Alvarez/White, Lux and probably some high upside low guys. In return we get Stanton and $6 Mil a year starting in 2019. They would promptly hang up the phone and I'd be done with it.

Certainly a tough deal to make, but if anybody can get a creative/complicated deal done it´s the Nerds..pull in a 3rd team..probably the Mariners or Braves..they always seem ready to make a transaction.
