    So that tough run on the Giants schedule is pretty much over as now 15 of their next 18 games are at home with the one road series in LA. The first 10 game homestand are against playoff contenders, but each one is scuffling a bit. Hopefully these teams can still beat them up a bit before our series with them in two weeks.

    Risky stretch for sure, but you can only control what you can control.

    We can't be losing games against struggling teams especially in the way we did yesterday. We should have scored more runs, and I had a big problem with Kenley and Roberts pitching strategies in the 9th in a close game.

    That, at least to me, was a mental fart that cost us three runs. Can't do that down the stretch and especially when we go head to head with Bochey and the Gnats.

    Since right now we're in the lead for the wild card and the division is gonna be difficult to win: which would you rather face, Marlins or Cards?

    I know the real answer is "neither" but, the Cards is probably the better matchup on paper since they don't have Jose Fernandez but... It's also the Cardinals

    The Marlins have Jose Fernandez though, who could shut us down easily. The Pirates and mets have outside chances but it really comes down to Cards/Miami in my opinion

    Just a random off day thought as I still think there's a strong chance miss out on the division

    We'd light up Fernandez like a Christmas tree. And Donnie Base Head would make Stanton bunt with runners on first and second in the 9th inning.
