Tell it, brother. I lean to the left a little, but it made me upset that I saw that often when I worked there. It sucks too because I've seen people who really need that shit who aren't getting enough of it because of regards like her. I could rant, but I wont. I swear you see the worst in people when you work in retail.
not atheist nor agnostic just hate all these different religions claiming/believing they're the ones that have it right everything that happened in biblical times is heresay and most deeply religious people don't realize that a lot of the stuff contained in the bible is figurative/metaphoric but they take it literally i got in trouble once in sunday school when i told a nun that i thought the bible was a made up story my knuckles still hurt from getting whacked by that bkitches' ruler. so true grizz dealing with the general public can be a nightmare
Irish, step one of religion usually is brainwashing. Success! You have advanced past stage one and broke through brainwashing. Of course it's symbolic allegory metaphor. And literal but not in the places where a person is speaking poetically. Prob is the enemy has false preachers who lead people to confusion because they take the metaphor in a dumb way. See a big part of the bible is that you have to get it. Get it? Spoiler alert... It's secret c
Secret is you got to read it Understand it Live it Love it Do it Stuff starts opening up. Like Moby dick not about a whale. Don Quixote not about windmills or his imagined dragons The bible then takes the metaphor deeper, repeatedly, through time, to hammer out that there is a plan. Like the woman riding on the Dragon is not an actual flying dino with a hooker from Iraq in a Scarlett dress. If people are waiting for dragons to then... Well maybe, genetic engineering is up to lots of things. No bueno.
How bout coffee hills of el Salvador. A land where coffee, chocolate, and sugar grow on trees. And pretty much everything good to eat that can grow grows there wild. Some real good Koop aid down there.
so many topics all rolled into one... bz I get your take which makes me wonder hopefully about the younger crowd growing discontent with the same spector and 'maybe' attempting what we did. It won't happen because our age gelled all at once and spoke in a common voice about things being done wrong. and now? people just expect to get fucked by Big Gov. its the same as getting fucked by Big Medicine or Big Pharma... for some reason we allow this shit to go on until something pops ... ... welll... at least Justin Beiber got arrested twice this week... so its not ALL bad...
Shit is getting real: A return of L.A. Rams? Owner is said to buy possible stadium site St. Louis Rams owner Stan Kroenke is said to have bought a 60-acre lot in Inglewood next to Hollywood Park that could potentially be used for an NFL stadium. http://www.latimes.com/sports/football/nfl/la-sp-nfl-la-rams-20140131,0,3805682.story#ixzz2rwa7ubEj
Sam Farmer is full of shit in a couple paragraphs though of that article. Citing "roadblocks" to a move. The league would unanimously approve a Rams relocation to Los Angeles.
Don't you need more than 60 acres to have an NFL stadium/parking etc.? I owned a house in PA once that was 3/4 of an acre, and it sure didn't look like 60X that amount of land would be enough. Guess I'm not a surveyor, either. Seems a little tiny.
i live on 2 and no way 30 would be enough but its a start. it would be a dream come true for the Rams to come home. fucking whorgia.
Don't be so sure TB ... lot of old money grudges held for decades 60 acres is nowhere near enough... but... IF he bought a portion of the ghetto tenements to be that will become Hollywood Park Tomorrow and or IF he also bought out the Forum from MSG ...then... maybe he has enough room. I don't think the flight patterns objection matters to anyone but the fearful weak wristed writer but... the NFL owners are cronies from way back, the ultimate "old boys club" if there ever was one. If they collectively decide that their buddy Stanley can bring a team back to LA then they will allow it. If any 9 of them think Stanley is a prick then they can kill the deal. And enough of them do have the point that the Ram's left LA once. And St Louis is willing to spend public money, though not enough it appears, whereas no one in LA will spend a dime. I'd expect the deal, should there ever rise to be a deal, will be killed at least twice by the owners just for sport.
This isn't the typical case. This is something that is probably happening. The Rams are allowed to leave after next season. The city of St. Louis already passed on renovating their stadium (can't afford it. They were 600 million dollars short of what it would cost), and they will not finance a stadium with public funds. If Kreonke is forced to build a stadium himself, it won't be in that market. It will be in LA. This stuff isn't just popping up suddenly. These things have been set in motion for a long time. I think it's a fallacy for people who don't actually follow this story to assume "it's not happening", "just another rumor"....this case is its own. This is likely to happen. 60 Acres is enough. 49ers brand new stadium....40 acres. Colts beautiful facility? 30 acres. Cleaveland's new stadium? 35 acres. The list goes on. You're dead wrong about St. Louis willing to finance a stadium. That's the whole reason they are able to opt out of their lease. They couldn't afford more than 124 million to renovate their current stadium. They are broke. Their mayor already said there is no way they would facilitate a deal on a new stadium using public domain. That's just the tip of the iceberg too; they will not and CANNOT finance a stadium. L.A will not publically finance a stadium either. But AEG has a shovel ready, privately financed stadium in DTLA. Kreonke could explore that, or work with the NFL and Inglewood on a deal of his own. Are you kidding me about the owners? They want that L.A money too. All these owners have been outspoken about wanting a franchise in LA. The Rams are drowning in STL. This vote would pass almost unanimously. Come on guys. Each case is its own. You're generalizing and throwing out fallacies. There is a great web page "Bring Back the LA Rams", ran buy a real sharp dude over the past few years, who's gained a lot of traction and respect with players and fans. They've been following this for years, step by step. Everything is coming together.
No team will come until a stadium is built and no one will build a stadium until a team agrees to move. Why doesn't the nfl give us an expansion team and take us out of the "use LA to get a new stadium" business?
Also, Stan's silence says a lot. The Chargers have the ability to move but are outspoken about trying to find a solution in SD and their desire to stay. They've been able to leave for a while. The Raiders have the ability to leave now too but keep working on new stadium solutions up in Oakland. Jacksonville is locked into a lease through 2026 and can't break it unless they prove they've been losing money for 3 consecutive seasons, among other things. Stan, however, did his due diligence in the renovation case, won, and has kept his mouth shut. There are no solutions in that city, he hasn't said a word...and that says A LOT.
