Don't expect him to start next year when Town comes in. Surprised Browne isn't transferring, he's looking like the odd man out.

Comparing a Fresno State defense at your own home against UVA AWAY is not context you can compare fairly but maybe anyone that disagrees is just bliiiiiind

Neither of these games are gonna be good ways to evaluate either teams, they played meh teams in different situations and football is a small sampled size sport. I'm not ready to say USC is a world beater and UCLA is trash and saying the opposite is just homerism to the max but I'll bet on the talent/experience at UCLA with some proving to do and USC still has to prove themselves beyond this.

If Kessler is worse than him, Browne is that good and Town is even better, then I am confused as to what you're saying?

I do think Kessler comes back unless he and USC have a MONSTER year. If he does, then Browne may transfer, but he'd still have the potential to be a two-year starter at his dream school; remember he is only a redshirt freshman this year. Plus, I don't think in any way that Town starts over Browne or Greene (who could be a real playmaker; already heard great things about him as a dual-threat in practices as a TRUE freshman).

Anyways, I'm looking forward to this season; no more Kiffin, our last year of a 75-player limit, our first full recruiting class (likely will be #1 in the nation this year), uptempo offense and just new energy. FTFO baby!

Well, Ricky Town didn't decommit from Alabama to sit on the bench.

No commit goes anywhere thinking or wanting to sit.

You can't say that here, you are being irrational. After all, they are the football team in this city...they're 2-12 against SC in the past 14 years. ;)

702 years of offense, with essentially 3 quarters of work. Only gave up 326 yards and again a lot of that comes late. This team looks very good.

    Bring on the Cardinals! #SCTurntUp #FightOn #WeAreSC

Literally no one said anything about saying USC > UCLA is irrational. No one. USC played great, UCLA had an uncomfortable win. If you wanna take a one game sample where USC is at home against Fresno St. And UCLA is away at UVA and say that one game is indicative of exactly what these teams are then go ahead by my guest. You need at least A few other games in different types of environments/competition to see what the teams are and there doesn't need to be an obsession over comparison.

Id love to be better then USC but my sights or towards UCLA being better then anyone and everyone else, not just focusing over being better them. Same mindset USC should have

I agree with you 100% about 1 game not meaning anything. Just saying that on this board, until now that there are other USC fans, nothing I said mattered and everyone was against me. Even last year when I came on after the WSU and said the sucked ass and Kiffin should be fired, I was wrong.

USC has the BIGGEST test early in the season next week when we play AT Stanford.

Again, I am just pumped and happy to see the swagger and offense power back at SC. I think Sark was a great hire and am so excited about these true freshmen.

Looking forward to playing you guys at the end of the year. Hopefully both teams are undefeated and it is the College Game Day matchup. Fight On!

    UCLA = ANGELS + Clippers.

History made it that way and they will NEVER catch up.

I probably shouldn't say this on here but I'm a Stanford fan and will be rooting for them next week against USC. I almost went there and would be going there if it weren't for the allure of the girls/less stressful lifestyle at UCSB.

No no not at all, exactly as I stated there are a great many fine things that the 'university' contributes to the planet.

Look I admit that I've got many ties to the place
    My niece attends
    My biz partner is alumni
and more that I can say
    I respect the institution

buuuuuuuut I have never in all my travels to a dozen + campuses met a place where the general student body had such a state of spoiled entitlement. Of course I'm a piker and I've not wandered the halls of Harvard nor Yale but USC does its best. I'll blame my biz partner for bringing me into USC through those spoiled frat boy circles decades ago.

in fairest retrospect from a statistical basis the quantity of hard working kids earning their way in and paying their own way (my niece) might actually rival the louder bombastic omnipresent rich frat boy pricks that she'll be fending off.

    or not.
