Guillen spoke openly about his former player when asked about a recent episode during which Ramirez angered an opposing pitcher with a celebratory gesture. Burnett. Burnett struck out Ramirez in his next at-bat and yelled an expletive at the star infielder. "It surprised me A.J. didn't drill him," Guillen said. "The way A.J. is, it surprised me he didn't do it." Guillen acknowledged that Ramirez's behavior is indicative of an overall culture within baseball but stated that he doesn't care for it. "Somebody hits a home run, they put on a show," Guillen said. "Somebody strikes out, they put on a show. That's the way the game is right now. "I cannot say (anything) because my players do a stupid show. They're a last-place team. They score one run and they (act) like we score 100." A three-time All-Star, Ramirez struggled offensively this season while with the Marlins, batting .246 in 93 games. The former NL batting champion has enjoyed a resurgence in his 22 games with the Dodgers, batting .322 with 23 RBIs.

Ozzie's words carry as much weight and Rodney King asking "Why can't we just get along?" He's 10X more desperate for attention than 99.9% of player he's managed.

Ozzie is one racist, crazy son of a bitch. But, in this, he is right. This is today's athlete (for the most part). Look at me while my team flounders. If we don't make the playoffs, whatever as long as I get paid in the offseason. It is really fucking sad.
