    There are plenty of pitchers who throw strikes who don't overpower people that are way better than Maholm and not anything like Maddux. If you fall behind 2-0 or 3-1, that 85 MPH pitch you have to pump down the middle gets blasted. Not foolish, throw strikes and don't fall behind because that's when you get hit hard.
