Everybody is going to make gaffs.
It's the insincerity and inauthenticity of these people that truly makes it cringe worthy.
Pete trying to hit specific beats with his speech patterns in a statement he clearly wrote beforehand... Robert Francis O'Rourke trying to speak Spanish...Warren guzzling down a beer to try and seem like she's an average person...Kamella trying to act sweet and appreciative... Pete drinking from a brown paper bag with his sleeves rolled up...Mini Mike licking his fingers like he doesn't eat his Snickers with a fork and knife in his high rise.
Every one of them is so fucking fake.
Remember when Hillary spoke in a fake southern accent? It's like they're trying to one-up each other at this point.

Say whatever you want about the Donald. But he is authentically and unapologetically the Donald.

The Don showing some restraint with the press idiots lately.
    LINK
I was starting to get a little irritated with the miscommunication and confusion early on, but I think POTUS has since risen to the occasion and I have restored trust in the administration to handle this pandemic.
No, I don't think Trump knows much about health, and you can tell he's completely on script when he's asked to speak on the subject.
But I do think the correct actions have been taken thus far and I like his demeanor.
In times of crisis it seems Trump is more willing to put politics aside and extend grace to his opponents than the other way around.

Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez backed away from Sanders campaign after Joe Rogan endorsement
by Tobias Hoonhout | National Review — 13 March 2020
    [IMG]
Representative Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D., N.Y.) declined multiple pleas from the Bernie Sanders campaign to stump for the Vermont senator’s candidacy after the Iowa caucuses, according to HuffPost.

Ocasio-Cortez was heavily involved in the campaign’s buildup to Iowa, headlining seven rallies for Sanders in Iowa over the weekend of January 24 to January 26.

But the progressive New York representative disagreed with the campaign over its decision to promote the endorsement of Joe Rogan, the popular podcaster who has been criticized by LGBT activists for opposing puberty blockers for gender-confused children. He has also spoken out against the participation of biological males competing in women’s sports.

Faiz Shakir, Sanders campaign manager, also reportedly criticized Ocasio-Cortez for a polarizing speech in which she advocated for those in attendance to help illegal aliens to avoid ICE. She also failed to mention Sanders’s name in the January 25th speech — a fact highlighted by Fox News.

When the campaign attempted the same strategy of touting Ocasio Cortez for Sanders in New Hampshire, she refused multiple times before ultimately speaking the day before the February 12 primary at a Sanders rally.

“It was like pulling teeth to get her to New Hampshire,” a source told HuffPost.

Then, from February 11 to March 8, Ocasio-Cortez rejected numerous invitations from the campaign to speak on Sanders’s behalf in Nevada, South Carolina, and the 14 states that voted on Super Tuesday.

She finally agreed to speak at a get-out-the-vote rally on the University of Michigan campus in Ann Arbor on Sunday, which was an apparent last-minute decision, forcing the campaign to release a revised media advisory about the rally the night before the event.

HuffPost reported that neither the Sanders campaign nor the Ocasio-Cortez’s campaign office denied the facts of the story.

“Senator Sanders and our campaign will never forget that in one of the most difficult moments for us, Rep. Ocasio-Cortez gave us a boost with her strong endorsement,” Shakir said in a praising statement. “And she has remained a steady and consistent ally, supporter, surrogate and adviser to the senator ever since.”

In an interview in January, Ocasio-Cortez bashed the Democratic Party for being “too big of a tent.”

“In any other country, Joe Biden and I would not be in the same party, but in America, we are,” she said.

But Sanders’s campaign used the same tent language to defend the Rogan endorsement, saying in a statement that “sharing a big tent requires including those who do not share every one of our beliefs, while always making clear that we will never compromise our values.”

Democratic presidential candidate Joe Biden slammed the comments, saying on January 27 that there was “no room for compromise” and calling “transgender equality . . . the civil rights issue of our time.”

Ocasio-Cortez then said in an interview released February 2 that Democrats must “rally behind” the eventual nominee, “no matter who it is” — despite calling Biden “not a pragmatic choice” last June.

Kelly talked about how soldiers who give their lives for country are sacred.
But it's eroding like all other holy things when nothing's sacred.
How women used to be sacred.
    Religion used to be sacred.
    Life used to be sacred.
    Children.
When nothing's sacred you can buy fuck enslave and kill anything you want and the selected masses that take part in the chaldean cult of Ur anus will look the other way.

I know people who won't help their grown up kids because my money is my money and money = spirit in this culture.
Nobody wants to lose an ounce of their spirit. Specially when they see their own flesh and blood as a bottomless pit where money goes and they get no interest back.

When they are old and have no grandchildren around their bed they will learn how little spirit money has.
    Hopefully they learn before that.
Because folks learn to settle into a cold war as if it's the desired status quo because u still see and talk to each other.
But it's because gold is cold.
Unless you put it to the fire.
Where it melts and mixes with the quartz in the dirt for all time.

If u got brothers whose father's won't help then it's your priviledge to be their keeper.
And that father's loss for wasting his spirit outside the family when the family comes first.
Then you end up with a greater family than you could naturally dream of.

    This is a solid point.

I think we will eat out tomorrow now. A couple local joints here might not make it without some help.

So I can't believe I'm going to say this, but the country probably needs some Yang Gang action right about now.
Instead of trillions of QE injected into the top of the economy at the banks, the gov't should give that trillion straight to the people that need it most, and give everyone UBI for a few months.
Basically, everyone in the service industry (and many others) is fucked until this crisis blows over, seems like the best way to keep everyone afloat.

Notice I been quiet on Yang.
    Already said it all.
    Thanks for coming on board.
Do the math and it's not prediction.
    Just education.

The middle class will be gutted.
Rob the rich to pay the piper.
And to the poor the only rich they can grasp is straight up the middle.

idk about yang wang but i heard that if that 1.5 went straight to the people it would be close to 7k a person
which would be pretty much 3 months rent for the average individual
i'd be on board w that as opposed to stimulating the banks
mittens is proposing handing over 1k a person
seems pretty certain a check is coming your way or some sort
made the decision to keep the school open at the behest of the 25 parents who were totally grateful for us being there
just hope we aren't forced to close but either way i can hang without help for a little while and take care of staff
but if they each got 7k or 14k a family i wouldn't even worry

We kind of already are unfortunately.
Trump needed to have done this himself before it became inevitable.
Once Yang put the gun in the room the rule says someone was going to have to pick it up and shoot it when backed against the wall.
Now when the plague has passed and things are normalized the left will take this as a huge win.
That they saved America from Trump by forcing him to sign the UBI act or something like it.
The right has to be more proactive on the socialism front before dems like AOC and he crew start taking over.
Chinese Democracy is more than just a GNR record.
It is China and communism pivoting into democracy and capitalism but taking it over in their own image.
If we follow this model to the T we will have a much harder time. It is their model.
So we need to do to their old model what they did to ours.
We are progressing into social democracy little by little but soon it will go fast.
The right needs a better answer than Trump once the millenials get 4 years older and they start getting their husbands to put the rig down and get his ass to the polls.

    The crusaders fight the immortals.
So the dragon comes for the big meal.
    Then they come together...
Because the knights of europe and the thieves of baghdad share a common enemy.
    The great dragon.

Power see this as their wet dream.
Giant secure facilities where religion and its faults can be exorcised from society.
Because if they can take your faith from you they can then take your guns and your money and your life/wife/kids/parents/family/friends/dignity/spirit/etc...

They don't call them wiggers for no reason.

I get he's 70 something years old and sleep deprived, but Trump could really answer the media's most stupid questions in one sentence or less.

Q: "Some have called you racist for referring to this as a Chinese virus. Doesn't that make Chinese Americans the target for hate?"
A: "It's about Geography, not Ethnicity you stupid fucking moron"

Spanish flu was named that to keep the Mexicans away. Like marijuana.
All kidding aside... Xenophobia has its merits, and it's time.
The message is deep in there.
    China bad. America good.
    Buy american made goods.
Eat at KFC and MCDonalds not at Kung Paos or Mandarin special of the week.
If it rains cats and dogs... Don't eat them.
The amalgamation of man and beast is real and it leads to ex-men.

Trump doesn't have to say overt shit like that.
But the message is still finding it's target.
Trump almost relishes looking bad and losing 'points' if it means protecting and leading.
Leaders must always be rah rah when danger is coming. Keeping up spirits and having a heart filled with mirth is the best antibiotic.
Drink a little wine and toke up if you got em.
A little goes a long way when you with loved ones.
But when shit hits the fan the rah rah has to turn into direct action. Just never get too serious or you can become infected by the gravity that's in the air.
Because that's when the jokers come out and play.
And they don't feel the gravity because they high on helium and laughing gas.
Which makes them more dangerous than anyone except a king without his crown.
