    The Angels and Red Sox and a whole bunch of others did learn... they learned from the Yankees who have purchased themselves some 27 rings already... not saying I like it but that seems to be how its done.

    that was sort of my point. i don't think any of us jump on and off the "bandwagon". and really how can anyone feel all warm inside about the second half.
    still you do see a few guys around more when things are going well. who can blame them? not saying anyone is a "real" fan because they are sadistic. that just goes w the territory.
