Crawford's homer was such a surprise. I thought it was a flyball, then Upton kept going back and it thought it was off the wall and it just kept going man. Crazy. I was pretty pissed after 1st. But damn man such a great game
Soooo dope. A HUGE thank you to TB for letting me roll with him to the game and be in a suite. It was fucking sick!!!!! The game was amazing and we had a great time. Met IBB and hung out with him for a while; cool dude. Here is a video from the game (I love when crowds sing Seven Nation Army, always awesome): BTW, Yasiel is a fucking beast!!! Dude is huge.
like game 1, so many heroes in this one, especially offensively. Capuano though... the game felt like it was going to be a battle going back and forth but Capuano shut them down for 3 innings. Lead off hitters got on but still kept his cool off a team that had to be feeling good. The offense did their thing and his pitching changed it from a two team slugfest into a blow out.
They keep insisting Ryu is fine... he might be. He had a huge layoff between starts and a couple of those runs came from out of character stupid defense on his part. I don't even think he looked that terrible relative to how he always looks. Always kinda shaky in the 1st inning, especially after long layoffs... Gives up a few hits, then gets a good ground ball to get that DP. Maybe he was getting hit a bit harder than usual but idk. well, actually.. 6 hits, and only 1 K is pretty bad. And we don't have much leverage to give him another start unless they know 100% he is fine. But maybe if Nolasco pitches well tomorrow you give Nolasco game 3 and Ryu game 4 with the chance Kershaw maybe starts it. Ah getting way too ahead of myself. We are one random Freddy Garcia shutting us down game from being into a shitty ass game 5
I don't watch Sportscenter/Baseball Tonight often but when I do, Manny Acta seems to be saying something I lie. Anyone else feel this way? I heard from an old coach that I knew and worked with him that he was a great guy/coach, but was wondering if anyone else that watched more frequently agreed.
after we pulled ahead 10-4 i went to grab grub and a beer and it was insane. all these Dodger fans chanting the ooooooo ooo oo o o no no no no no. i felt like i had a date w molly cause i couldn't get the smile off my face or rush out of my head.
The traffic was hilarious. Took me 25 minutes to get from my house to Sunset Blvd and 1 hour-15 minutes to get from Sunset into the ballpark.
Damn it man my phone was such shit the entire game. Once 10,000 or so left after the 8th I got all the texts
Cracked me up when we took the piss doing the chop. Only thing I didn't like about the game was not plunking someone.
