I can only see something happening with Price if we get a significant prospect or two from an OF trade.

With just our farm system, it'd be like Seager, Urias, Lee. Maybe Pederson in there somewhere

It would probably take more than that if not exactly that. Lets say best case scenario Kemp lands us two good prospects, we'd probably need to put Seager on that and we have ourselves a deal.

Here’s Who Isn’t Playing Third Base Next Year
by Mike Petriello | Mike Scioscia's Tragic Illness
    December 9, 2013

Ned Colletti dropped some truth about the Dodger infield today, and a few of the usuals collected his comments. I assume by this point I don’t need to add the caveat that there’s generally an 80% chance of what a GM says publicly is less than truthful.

    1) Hanley Ramirez is not under consideration for third base. That’s not a terribly big surprise, as much as many of us would like him to. It’s not like there’s another internal option for shortstop, and Stephen Drew (who would cost a pick) is the best of a poor free agent market. Ramirez reportedly would be open to a discussion, but that conversation hasn’t happened since he came to Los Angeles.

    2) Neither is Alexander Guerrero. He’s “still being considered” for starting second baseman, but that’s dependent on winter ball playing time.

So we know who isn’t playing third. Who is? My money is still on Juan Uribe, especially if recent reports indicating he’s come off a three-year request are accurate. We’ll know soon; Uribe is likely to get signed one way or another this week.

Kershaw, Greinke, Price, Tanaka, Ryu. I could dig it.

maybe, Irish. maybe. i like it either way...just don't get rid of young Urias...he's a phenom and no sir you don't trade those.

i could see them dealing Seager...they don't know what position he'll stick at + the presence of Hanley over the next say 5yrs would give them a chance to find another young stud for the left side of the infield over that time period. Pederson, i'd package as well. Seager/Pederson/Zach Lee and maybe one more...maybe. i don't wanna see Withrow's name in the deal either. really i don't wanna see any of our young reliever's names in there. if the starting rotation is gonna be set, we need our pipeline of young relievers to come through for us in the name of winning. so i don't wanna see Onelki or Dominquez in there either.

Mark saxon: @dodgers are getting a bit impatient waiting waiting for Juan Uribe's answer and are threatening to move on, eg., explore trades for 3B

I really don't love the idea of Uribe and Guerrero being the starters at 2B and 3B. At the very least there should be a legitimate third option present.

Also, something I've thought about, why hasn't Ryu been mentioned as a Price trade chip? You could call it selling high on our part, and I bet he's as enticing as any of our prospects, and it could give us a chance to keep Seager.

Ok, guys don't kill me but lets say Kemp does indeed get traded. Do you guys think that we'd go after Choo.

Would be a great lead off guy.

from what's been said, Marky Ellis may still be the man @ 2B...for next year at least

the squeeze. they know Uribe loves LA, loves Puig, Hanley, and Wilson

if we trade Kemp, i wholeheartedly believe that Ethier would be next. so yeh...Choo joining his Korean bro Ryu would be a possibility.

Crawford needs to be at the bottom of the lineup, period
