http://espn.go.com/los-angeles/mlb/...league-los-angeles-dodgers-strike-3-year-deal Good start to the offseason....
This was posted hours ago.....just FYI... Anyways, the more I have time to think about this deal, the more I like it. Solid signing and very happy that he wants to be a Dodger. Go Brandon, Go Blue!
Fuck it, this is worthy of it's own thread...shut up BLF! Anyway, this is a good signing IMO. I'm a bit suprised how much per + the length(Actually 4 years if he does his job). How did he get both? Usually length or amount...but dude scored both! This team really does have deep ass pockets, throwing money around like nothing! I'm VERY happy we kept League, the dude is really what we need. I love having a great bullpen. HaHa it feels weird, I just haven't got used to the post-McCunt era yet.
Last year it would have only been a 2 year deal with options and deferred 5 years, lol. Welcome back Brandon!!!!
I looked before I posted it and didn't see any mention of it. Are you sure it wasnt that "other" site? And yes I did work really hard on it.....fyi
http://www.dailysportspages.com/index.php?threads/the-offseason-trade-fa-rumors-thread.3049/page-25 4:57pm, Chris posted it. 10:36pm, this thread was created.
$22 - $30 million? With the way this team throws money around I'd sign to be Ned Colletti's fluffer... I'm still adjusting to this new ownership, but I love it.
It shouldn't have been "posted", it should have been made a "thread". Chris got lazy. You got cranky. C2theBB got screwed. I got confused.
and fordie I see your boy barajas is available I would have made a separate thread but I didn't want blf to get mad again Pirates Decline Option on BarajasBy Mike Axisa [October 31 at 2:32pm CST]The Pirates have declined their 2013 club option for Rod Barajas, reports Rob Biertempfel of The Pittsburgh Tribune-Review (on Twitter). Barajas, 37, hit .206/.283/.343 with 11 homers this year and will receive no buyout rather than a $3.5MM salary.
