Put Puig or Red Dick in left. Sick of seeing Howie bumbling his way around out there without substantially more production at the dish. Kid on his debut and you let that ball drop? Have some fucking hustle coming in and call the ginger turd off. The kids fastball was great, despite the fact the gun had it at 91-93. Lots of movement, and gets it there in a hurry. I liked what I saw, especially once he started locating his change. Bright future.
Priceless conversations between two broadcasting legends. http://www.cbssports.com/mlb/news/w...together-and-shared-a-bunch-of-great-stories/
Um he's hitting .280 and by all accounts is doing a good job despite not playing there in left. Agree with the last line wholeheartedly.
Hi! 1 hit is not bad. 2 hits is a good game. signed Josh Reddick... who everyone was all excited about his 'great' turnaround game after getting 2 hits finally. hey just shows you where the expectations are. puig gets two hits and its a meh 'not bad' game. reddick gets two hits and its a big deal that hopefully means his season is turning around either way you slice it though having a 2 headed RF named Josh Puig makes us a much better team. Like having Joc Thompson in CF and Howie Toles in left.
Nah, bruh. You know you gotta bench Howie who's been ballin for 3+ months when Reddick/Puig finally gets a meaningful hit.
Yeah, Joe the Lion looked very sharp out there. One of these guys that doesn't blow away the radar gun, but the ball is on the batter very quickly. Sid Fernandez had that going for him...a substantial thing to have. Crazy movement. Impressive.
I said this earlier on here but his pitches look much faster then the mph radar readings. And the swings made it seem like he was throwing 97. Very very exciting and with the upside of JDL and Brock, damn.
No kidding? Yeah, I know what de means in Spanish, but I figure if he's going to pitch like he did today, the I'm calling him Joe THE Lion.
Reddick and Puig have a level above Howie, both with the bat and glove. I'd take the consistency over a season, but players like Puig or Reddick (and Marco Scutaro) getting hot at the right time can skyrocket a team in the postseason. Howie isn't that player, IMO. Guy sucks in left, regardless.
I was so proud the Dodger fan got in the way on Grandal's homer. Watched Gabe Kapler rob a homer in the same section in '08 or '09 which cost us the game. Crowd parted and let him lean into the crowd and catch it. Fuck that, home team. Push the cunt.
Even if any of that were actually true you'd still feel differently if Howie Kendrick had more charisma
