    I don't think it's probable for a team who is completely dismantled when a lefty is on the mound to win the world series. It's tough. The team is so different. You have Kike Hernandez leading off, Ruiz batting cleanup...it's just difficult to overcome such a deficiency.

    One platoon player, sure... but half the lineup including lead off and clean up? I don't know how the team thought this was ok. Hell, Joc is in the lineup now, but almost never started vs LHP during the season. And then at the deadline we trade for Josh Reddick.

    Cueto, who I didn't want, would've made quite the difference for us. There were a few starting pitchers out there that would've only cost us money. The rotation by committee almost worked but it just keeps failing for us in the post. We have given too much money to guys who never pitch.

    I still don't get the 20 ft lead thing. 1) why we do that instead of actually taking the extra base, and 2) how does a MLB pitcher just decide "that's too hard of a throw for me, I just won't throw to first anymore". That's so fucking bizarre by everyone.

    So much weird managerial shit tonight. Not necessarily the reason we lost, but just weird. Gonna be a relief on Saturday when they just throw out the usual lineup and watch Kershaw pitch 8. Kenley saves. Dodgers win 3-1 with no drama.
