I think i am in deep too.
I was at walmart last night on a midnight dog food run and walked past the aisle with all the dodgers car flags and bumper stickers and license plate holders, etc... All the things i normally find kinda tacky and not really in my wheelhouse. Im just not a memorabilia type of guy. I have a couple of old Dodger shirts and maybe an old grimey cap somewhere. But I stopped for a few to contemplate all the Dodgers gear and even reached up to a rack to feel the quality of a dodgers beach towel, it was not good but the blue and white colors were calling me. I put two hands on the shopping cart and scooted on outta there before I ended up with a Puig bobblehead or something.

Turner and Seager shifting is not for this year, that one is easy. They will probably have to move in the future. Then the rest will have to move to adjust.
But for now the new adjustments to the team will have them putting their best foot forward everynight without the big holes in the lineup like Joc.
Granderson wont be in vs lefties I dont think. Puig is better on defense and the drop off offensively is not that big.

:Luckily we wont be playing the Tigers and Rich Hill wont be our #1, #2, or even #3 pitcher in the playoffs. After Kershaw, Darvish, Wood, its a grab bag of guys for the #4 and #5 spots which in the playoffs are often spot starters/relievers/mop ups.

Yes indeed. Pretty much said the same the other day. Could see LAD meeting up with Boston in the WS, and having to go into Fenway where Grandy has a career .820-ish OPS..and we´d watch him bury Boston´s ass with multiple big HRs to that short RF corner in Fenway. You just know Grandy is gonna be headache for the opposition, especially in this lineup..dangerous/experienced as he is, I´d damn near like to see him leading off ahead of Seager/JT/CB/Taylor. But maybe there´s something to be said for having Bellinger at the plate and an experienced/dangerous Grandy´s presence in the on-deck circle behind him as well, almost surely a tough AB. Not sure if Doc can go wrong either way

    this is a great point
an unselfish hitter like grandy will thrive in this lineup
he'll do whatever he has to do to help the team
but will also have some big timely hits
    much like chase
    love it

And with the guys in front of him, he's gonna have so many opportunities with men on base

Fucking chris sale is going to hit 250 K's today, with quite a bit of August left. Amazing.

And he has cheap club options for '18 and '19. That's... wow. With hindsight I would have sent a Verdugo + Alvarez package for him.

Puig is hitting .140 vs lefties, it is pretty big. Also Turner and Seager aren't moving positions anytime soon. Not this year, not next year, and not even the year after that

Yes he is, I agree that he should be platooned with Kike, said that a few times. But the thing is is that im not telling you what I think should be done but what is being done and will be done. Puig is getting a chance to hit lefties a lot even though he is sucking for a variety of reasons. He has shown last year that he can hit them well, he is hitting very well vs righties so some may think that its just a matter of time for him to bring that over to lefties again, we dont have a huge surplus of extra outfielders that can hit lefties well after Bellinger and Taylor now that Trayce and Franklyn are out of the picture. And Bellinger has infield duties vs lefties so that leaves Taylor available to for one spot, Kike for the other... and then no more guys that can hit lefties. So Puig gets most of those at bats by default, but not all of them now. Granderson will get some too and Joc if he comes back up. But they will be batting 8th so their lack of lefty hitting wont make such an impact.
