Between Grandy and Adrian, 600+ career HR just added to the mix for LAD..Grandy with more career HR than Adrian
Absolutely love what LAD is doing now, but at the same time Adrian was returning as the most accomplished post season hitter on the roster and that was a tad worrying
Between Taylor, Bellinger, Puig, Grandal, Joc, and Forsythe..not a whole lot of proven post season bats there, so we were sort of left hoping they´d carry what they´re doing now over into OCT and unsure if they would
Obviously still need them, but Granderson comes in with about 50 career post season games under his belt and basically a .800 OPS over that stretch, highly productive against premium post arms
Think we also remember how Grandy had a near 1.000 OPS against LAD a couple years back in that post season series
Great to add an accomplished guy that can still swing it..now, lets see if the FO is done..I doubt it.

    Post of the Year candidate
Thing is, if (when) this happens, he will finally be at a respectable playing weight.
    Ain't life grand?

It won't because Justin Turner isn't playing first base and Corey Seager isn't playing third base. Dodgers will have two different lineups but positionslly they will look like this:
    Vs LH:
    1B Bellinger
    2B Forsythe
    SS Seager
    3B Turner
    Of Kike
    Of Taylor
    Of Granderson
    C Barnes

    Vs RH
    1B Gonzalez
    2B Taylor/Utley
    SS Seager
    3B Turner
    LF Bellinger
    CF Joc/Granderson/Taylor
    RF Puig
    C Grandal

As bad as Puig has been against LH, I think they'll keep him in there over Granderson for defense alone. Could be wrong.

Looks like Joc was sent down or placed on the fake DL. Hope he takes time to get his swing in check. Best thing for this team is for him to get back to mashing cause he's a valuable player

Darvish going on DL for Back stiffness. Team says it's not serious and he feels the DL is unnecessary. With such a big lead, the team prefers to have him 100% and can afford to skip a start or two.

    makes sense
we've been beating everyone without him or kersh [for the most part]
    division/postseason not in jeopardy
having both of them 100% healthy for the postseason should be the priority

we went on our run [for the most part] without kersh or darvish so there shouldn't be much concern

    damn cody!

Cody Bellinger dating smokin' hot pre-law student
    TMZ — 12 hours ago

Cody Bellinger's hot streak continues -- and here's the proof.

The 22-year-old Dodgers rookie phenom has been dating Melyssa Perez -- a pre-law student at the University of Texas (hook 'em), TMZ Sports has learned.

Our sources say the two aren't official or anything ... but they've been on a few dates and he's brought her to the stadium -- even bringing her on the field and into the dugout.

Our Dodgers spies tell us the two were even seen getting kissy and cuddly after the Dodgers beat the White Sox earlier this week.

    Kid's havin' a season, huh?!

Joc has to look at the bright side....no Puig in OKC.

And fast food lines are shorter in OKC.

Yeah, I guess everything is relative...because I thought Hill's high pitch total, his 3ER in a minimal 5, and his escapes from more, was pretty mundane. Nothing at all exceptional or noteworthy. Almost, one could say, pretty shitty.
But the guy is 9-4, so grain of salt and all that.
But, looking to the oncoming maelstrom of the post season, can't help thinking about the caveat of " we won't be playing the Tigers".

So weird to me that we now have Utley, Granderson, and Adrian. Three guys I badly wanted on the Dodgers for years...obviously not as good as they used to be, but it's still pretty cool
