Classic little bully napoleon tactic. The Marlins had nothing so all they could do is play hardball to feel tough in the end no matter how they come out.

Passan has a good article tonight about how Ohtani and Stanton aren’t holding up the off-season. It’s just a new tactic that GM’s are using apparently to try to bring down prices. Make these guys start sweating and then get a guy for cheap. One exec said he would not be shocked if 7-10 deals happen this week. Chances are the relievers start coming off the board.

They can if the Marlins give us permission, which they would only do if the Dodgers had presented an offer that they find suitable.

I thought we agreed to not talk about that ever again?

I get you though. Basically I'm not a fan of moving Puig when there's no need to. Puig is one of the 3 best OFers in our organization even with Stanton. Why move him?

JT posted on twitter that he's starting to take batting practice as of yesterday, hopefully he'll start a trend for the others that failed in the WS to hit in the clutch.

Bellinger started a week after the season ended. Posted something about how everyone else was 2 weeks ahead of them in their winter training and it was time to get to work. Good to see some of the young guys with strong work ethics.

Hopefully someone is throwing him a steady diet of back foot breaking balls and hopefully he's laying off them.

There is still 1 holdout in the Puig haters team.
No matter if he says otherwise because the tide has turned and it is no longer popular to shit on Puig. It is probably too hard for him to help himself from showing how much he wishes Puig was off this team.

Fuckeration. I'm assuming the doctor gave him clearance and said he'd be fine without it. Shouldn't be his decision alone.
