I was there when he re-aggravated it and it wasn't fake. In fact at that time I said oh no not again!!

The dude is fragile. Can't see him lasting much longer at SS.

Its just a few needles and some tubes. Its not open surgery but exploratory probably.
What are they looking for though?
Or do they know he has an issue that they need to clean up?
    The hip is crucial.

Apparently he tweaked it in a game on like April 25th... So now we have back problems, elbow surgery and hip surgery all from injuries at around or under his 24th birthday. That's a big fucking problem. I honestly think 1B is in his near future cause mobility and arm strength are both now in danger.

Big, awkward kid with knocked knees. Not surprised Seager's having issues in general, but this early is alarming. If he can just be a John Olerud caliber guy at 1B I'll take it. A .295/.385/.465 line will do

If Max Muncy ever gets his hitting back on track he should get the next shot at 1B with all that power.

It would seem, in light of the cluster of surgeries this guy is having, that it behooves the team to absolutely sign Machado. Absolutely, no matter what.
They way it's all playing out, at least the present script anyway, Machado may be the Seager replacement, rather than a complimentary piece on the left side with him.
Most unfortunately, should Seager's fragility prove more than we ever imagined it would.

There are no rumors in regards to this, but the Dodgers absolutely need a backup catcher for the final stretch. Barnes can't hit for shit and his sequencing tonight against Davis in the AB that resulted in the HR was short bus worthy.

Have to assume the FO doesn't think much of Farmer as a receiver. Has to be the only reason Barnes isn't in OKC.

Meh, second rehab start and only going 1.2 innings both times. Just ramping up. Obviously hoping he ticks up on the fastball but the duece looks decent at the early going of his rehab stint.

    Crossing fingers

What people seem to forget about the Urias injury is it was career threatening so to see him even out there is encouraging. This wasn't a TJ surgery where miraculously the pitcher is even better than before. Baby steps!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Team thought he could make it through this season too. Maybe they truly believe he'll return to SS, but this headline seems like one of those deals where no news or change is the best news. Appropriate for the time being.

I certainly don't believe they'd be comfortable saying Seager's moving to 1B or 3B next year, given how that could go over with the guys currently manning 1B and 3B..how it could go over with a Seager that's still hanging around. Probably a safe assumption that he wants to return to SS.
