Since this thread is more popular #Brewers star Ryan Braun has cleared waivers, making him eligible for an August trade https://t.co/MYZuRa9q9b/s/1OQO .318/.379/.577 141 wRC+
Braun has a big contract and some baggage/injury risk, so perhaps that's why we didn't claim him but maybe something can be done now that he's cleared. I think he'd be a huge RH bat for the stretch run and postseason. After that, it's risky of course. Lotta dough. But he's raking this year. Great hitter.
If we bring his PED's and Ervin Santanas PED's and unite them with Grandal and Ruiz PED's we should be a lock to win the WS.
player of the game; baez - bunt single - throwing error - balk - ground out - single [run] - caught stealing - walk - walk
Braun is a proven beast offensively. I think if we can get him, we improve our chances of winning a world series this year by a lot. And he will continue to hit in his mid 30s I think. Just give him regular rest to keep him healthy the next few seasons. Beltre, Beltran, Ortiz, and a number of older guys still go out there and get it done. Braun can too. Be bold and go all in for a ring this year.
I repeat 141 wRC+ .318/.371/.557/.928 He'd be arguably our best hitter this season. Not best player, but right up there offensively. He will be a great troll too. Which is important when going up against A holes like Pegan and the Giants.
Pretty sure all of DSP will be there to keep you company, just where a "My Name is Gebbeth" sticker on your shirt.
