Puig doesn't look comfortable, but i'm sure we'll keep playing him until he is seriously hurt and on the DL
Pretty sobering loss...we've always got a shot with Kersh, but I don't like Haren here in KC at all...and pretty sobering to hear from an ex-ballplayer (Nomar) that our CF is the slowest afoot in the game of baseball. Understandably , he's is trying his best out there, but how do you construct a team without a CF ? Dre is terrible at the plate...just terrible. Completely out classed in about every possible department. I've felt a lack of confidence in Greinke for a few games lately. Maybe just a down time, not used to seeing him give it up like tonight. And mybe I'm alone on this....but AJ looks like a stone bum out there; maybe he's playing hurt-I don't know. I know he could never run, so that's OK. But his throws down to 2nd base and the way he trots after the balls that he didn't catch but should have, is as half-hearted as it can get. He looks very unenthusiastic. I don't get it...tossing rainbows to second on a steal (no arm action at all; seems so nonchalant-not like his usual throw at all), barely jogging on balls rolling to the backstop....WTF? Other than that, the O, D, the great inovative lineup, pretty meh pitching from Zack, great hitting approach...all a yawn. I think that these next two and the next four after them, then Cleveland, we need to actually have an offense. RBIs and XBH and stuff...like that. The best thing about tonight's game I thought , was Alanna Rizzo, who looked flat out beautiful.
