    Our bats are saving Cora’s ass too.

    It’s funny, Milwaukee was supposed to have a great bullpen and we destroyed them. Boston was supposed to have a bad bullpen and we’ve done nothing against them.

    those all RH lineups to start both games in beantown certainly didn't help

    Dodgers get their 1st run on the 1st pitch in the 1st inning. We’re now in the 7th and they haven’t come close to making any threat what so ever. As much as I’d like to blame CK, our batters suck, plain and simple.

    you are correct. When your offense is relegated to hoping a guy can get on so the next guy has a 1 in 20 chance of hitting a hr, youre in trouble. no strategy. no moving guys over. no discipline. no going the opposite way. just whiffs and pop ups. we've won by the hr this year and arent hitting enough. once you fall behind then bam. swing for the fences.

    I’m usually the guy who thinks “well, nothing matters when your offense only scores 1 run” but when your ace gives up a 2 run shot in the top of the first, why should they give a fuck

    I agree. Players need to make plays and Kershaw/Jansen have had their chances, plenty of them.

    Still, Dave needs to set the tone. Hill was a nice guy last night and said “keep an eye on me” before the 7th inning. In that situation Dave needed to say “bkitch, we went 18 fucking innings last night and this is your last start of the season. No one is coming in to help you, now get back out there and win this game for us.”
