The 2018- 2019 dodgers are the most depressing team in the history of the game. You just know they do not have what it takes Such a helpless, hoplesss feeling as a fan
I really hope someone on the hitting coach side tells Cody to lay off the inside pitch. I think Cody feels he can golf that pitch out of the park, but that just isn't smart. It's bit him in the ass the past 3 years and it doesn't seem like he's learned. Seager is so inconsistent. I'm not sure what is going on in his head. Every team, every pitcher, every game I think you have to be flexible and adjust. He seems incapable of doing that. The way we are playing right now, we may not even have HFA in the NL post season.
Most of the year I was surprised when he didn't hit the ball hard. Now I'm shocked when he does. This team has no shot with this version of their best player.
its incredible that its back I'm sure he's heard everyone say he's doing it AGAIN some of the most frustrating ab's in Dodger history during the WS
I look forward to seeing Hill back in action tonight, followed by a weekend series with the Mets that should give us an indication of where we are. Great pitching matchups in NY.
Also I got the opportunity to go to Dodgers BP tomorrow in New York. Definitely excited even though 10 years ago me would’ve been 100 times more so. Kind of different when you’re older than half the team lol.
Watching all the contenders, outside of the Cubs maybe, they all are playing excellent baseball. Especially the Mets. They are clicking on all cylinders, way too well for our staff to handle, anyway. Going in with the newly" hit me hard" Ryu, a tired and worn Kershaw, a Jekyl and Hyde Buehler and a huge question mark Hill, I don't think we shut anyone down. Hill may be able to go a few innings, but little else, imo. The Bellinger problem is nothing new at all, and the stupid nine iron swing at down and in pitches, resulting in no contact or a flat out K, was posted about a month ago. And.if I saw it and wrote about it, then I guess the coaches definitely saw it, and think it not serious and worth changing. Either way, it spells big zero, along with really disappointing blatant inconsistency from the rest of the lineup. Very concerning. There must be a reason, that Davey Robots, a smilin' fool all year long, has become, at the very point of clinching the west, dour faced and the antithesis of what he was earlier. Very odd. I can guess why...
