It was only game 2, so I’m not jumping off bridges. If there is one thing about Minute Maid Park though, it’s a run scoring fan box.

Dodger bats better be ready and the pitching strong.

    Nauseating

    Then this:
You threw it 92 and it was hit 102, crushed, don’t blame the elements

even worse, he’s complaining about poor luck when correa’s subsequent groundout was hit 110 (harder than puig’s laser HR)

I agree with you. But to be honest, I couldn't believe how far that homerun went to the opposite field. Off the bat I thought it was a wall scraper home run at best, but it looked like the ball put on a jet pack halfway through its flight. I couldn't believe how it sliced through the air like that

I'm not sure there is such thing as a pitcher's park anymore. Maybe AT&T? I know Petco has that reputation, but the Padres just suck and they have moved the fences in. No park seems to be holding in these Juiced baseballs and the Fly ball Revolution

I can see that. He’s just so bad he shouldn’t be qualifying his mea culpas at all in my eyes.

If we win the series, yesterday becomes a crazy, fun chapter to an unforgettable WS. If we lose the series, eff me.

Honestly, there was no suspense in the first two rounds of the playoffs and it made me a tad complacent. This was a shock to the system and I just hope we come out on top and the drama makes it sweeter.

The Astros are in the WS for a reason and although I'd have preferred a sweep I was expecting a fight from them. We did beat Verlander 3-1 and we have Yu going tomorrow night, with a rested and ready Kershaw going again on Sunday. FUCKTARDS are bipolar with their moves so it's only fitting that one of the worst of the worst, McCarthy, was the one who let in the final nail and lost. The waste of roster space and $$$$$ could have completely reversed the narrative on himself last night but instead, he feared the yips and steered every pitch til one got crushed. My only bright spot is that I didn't ever see a post game interview (if there was one) and have to listen to him not really giving AF about his profession. That's probably the only reason I didn't chuck that emptied scotch bottle at my TV last night. Today fucking SUCKS!!!

    Live and (hopefully) learn.

    GO BLUE!

It’s not all doom and gloom. Their BP gave up 3 runs in the bottom of the extra innings, and we had Verlander beat.

As bad as our BP played last night, Houston’s was almost as bad.

Putting Kenley in in the 8th baffled me as was taking out Hill, so maybe Roberts wises up a little.

I wonder what Darvish’s record was against Houston this year before the trade.

    the latter
charlie has earned a spot in that lineup and tbh is the better fielder right now
and imo kiké is a no-brainer
he and charlie make look helpless against righty soft tossers
but mccullers being lh would result in painful 0-4's from joc/dre

Darvish, the Dodgers’ Game 3 starter, has the most experience against Houston, having pitched five seasons for the Astros’ cross-state rival, the Texas Rangers. He has nearly twice as many strikeouts as hits allowed — 118 to 65— against Houston’s lineup. The right-hander has started against the Astros 14 times and has a record of 5-5 with a 3.44 earned-run average — all as a member of the Rangers.

Darvish is also 4-1 with a 2.16 ERA in six starts at Minute Maid Park, one reason the Dodgers are having him start the first game in Houston. The Astros have hit just .139 against Darvish at home.
