No one said it would be easy. But it hurts when you make it harder on yourself.

reading a lot of Roberts blame here. talk about overanalyzing. Kenley doesn't leave that cut that didn't cut up on 0-2 and nobody is questioning anything really. this has been the set up these playoffs.

sometimes mistakes happen and sometimes professionals capitalize. Bottom line. after that Kenley did close out that inning. one mistake.

we'd all be talking how it was a great move to get hill out of there and go to the red hot pen if that one mistake didn't happen. in fact, scroll back and not one comment about taking hill out early. not one comment about bringing jansen in for 6.

I understand morning morning qb is a great coping mechanism, but Jesus Christ, it's baseball. shit happens.

this team will rebound in houston.

Yeah, you're right. One game at a time, and if Darvish is going good, you ride him.

I don't know if this loss hurt any worse than any other loss would. Losses hurt. And losses at home in the World Series hurt as much as any. But, if anything, our team showed fight late in the game. The bullpen is fine as long as we can avoid Stripling, Fields & McCarthy the rest of the way.

We got this. I expect us to take 2 of 3 in Houston and come back to LA up 3-2 (<--- @Rubricon likes this).

and thats the only thing i can look back on and feel decent about
i think we all thought this would be their game to win if verlander performed
doesn't make it any less painful but its one game we sort of felt was going to go their way
houston is a great team and this will be a fight so GET READY FOR MORE OF THE SAME
to see kenley blow the save in his biggest game was awful
but watching stripling, fields, and mehcarthy gag on astro cock was pathetic
they just pulled the pants down on our bp

the team should kick the living fuck out of him, set him on fires and toss him out on the tarmac
then turn to fields and stripling w blood all over their home field whites
how do losers like that even look the rest of the team in the eyes?

Their starters the next two games are terrible. That's my only hope. Gotta get back to the approach of getting them to 100 pitches by the 5th and killing the pen.

No one at work is even attempting to talk to me.

They know I have an unhealthy relationship with sports.

Altuve, although I give him credit for what he has made himself, is a cocky little motherfucker.
If we are going to win a game in Texas, I sure hope it's Friday...the trickle down effect of knowing it has to go back to LA will be helpful psychologically. Losing, and putting it all on Kershaw's shoulders again, like always, will not be optimum, facing an elimination scenario. I don't trust Wood at all..zero, like FSU dog wrote.
I don't get why you go out and get a Hill, who gave up one run, and yank him that early. If Dave and the nerds feel that's what (all) he is, then it was a bad move signing him.
As much as the FO moves brought players over that created the Dodger team that finally went to the WS, it was their somewhat fanatical penchant for getting guys like McCarthy and Kazmir, with all their uselessness blinding every Dodger fan and breaking their hearts last night.
I hope Yu can restore things for us...and Dave can't believe all the media hype and expect superhuman, unrealistic result's from the bp.
When Kenley came trotting in in the eighth, with no outs, my heart sank.
That was a terrible move at that point, like Hill being hooked to soon.
As CKWG mentioned, removing a middle of the lineup guy when losing, is like making the third out at third base.
Having the players to win, which he has to use, requires optimum brains, and
Roberts, with that fart last night he had in his, has put us in a weakened position.
I just don't get the McCarthy thing. He has been simply awful since his "return".
Rather see a rookie in the pen...couldn't be any worse.
What a terrible legacy just grows and grows for the Dodgers in the post season, especially for their bullpen.
    Will it never stop?

Man, I really wanna be able to look back at Game 2 as a beautifully crazy game but feel like I can only look back if we win it all. It was nuts and shortened my life by 15 years but the Joc, Seager, Puig, and Charlie home runs and Enrique base hit will stick with me forever.
