My feeling is on Poncedeleon is that he has talent, but is a confrontational head case that will eventually be in a few faggy bb donnybrooks.
Infinitely unlikable douchebag, and certainly on the right team for it.

What's he supposed to do differently?

Put players in motion with a lineup full of swing and miss players? Steal bases with few players capable with doing it?

If hitting solo HRs is a skill the Dodgers have it in abundance.

Metheny allowed the clubhouse to become toxic. Has nothing to do with how Roberts runs things.

Don't know if it's permanent damage from game 7 or just getting older, but I don't like this team. I care, but don't like them. We've has bad years in the past but it never prevented me from going to the stadium or turning on the game to indulge in Dodger baseball. Always had a little hope. Now, I avoid this team like the plague. If I could take a pill that took away the urge to check the scores, I would take extended breaks from watching. Because it's not even fun anymore. I just don't like these players, with the exception of JT. They're all chokers and it gets old.

Imagine if we play in the wild card game. I’d be more nervous for that than Game 7 of the World Series

True, I guess...he just doesn't know how to win with he players he has.
All that matters, to fans anyway, who want to win, is that the results are exactly the same. What difference does it make if everyone is hugging each other, but dropping like a lead balloon in the standings ?
Some of the best teams ever had clubhouses like a war zone, but the manager won anyway.
How long do you actually want this guy around, really ? He's had his three years, so if it is same results as always, give someone else a shot.
The way I see it, absolutely nothing to lose.
You'll get it your way, I'm sure they'll extend him.
    And it will be typical.

the whole organization, from top to bottom, seems void of emotion
walter, kasten, friedman, farhan... they like the petty tyrant supervisor ckunts you'd have at target when you were 16
    disingenuous, self-righteous, and entitled...
geniuses, perhaps, but it doesn't mean shit if you can't win it all
and most of the players -- at least for me -- are hard to root for
i mean, if given the choice... who's jersey would you buy?
stopped at a small mall sports shop the other day and there were dozens of bellinger and machado jersey shirts... all on sale!
    no thanks

    Yes.
We have guys that can run decently enough.
Just because you don't have Vince Colemans on your team does not mean you don't run and try to manufacture runs.
You don't give up on that important facet of the game because you have a ton of swing and miss guys.

in the last 2 games we've had 4 or 5 bases loaded no out/one out situations and not scored
    that just can't happen
you HAVE to come away w at least a run on a fly ball or a squeeze or ball to the right side
thats strategy and it gets really old watching davey looking around bewildered while we flounder once again

Last year and some personal things have made me so indifferent. I'll get upset for a couple of seconds and then go back to not caring. The Dodgers have basically turned into that rerun TV show I turn to late at night because I am bored and can't sleep. It sucks because I remember staying up late on the East Coast as a kid checking Baseball Tonight updates with such excitement anytime they did a Dodgers update. The Dodgers kind of tie in with life. Growing up, everything is fresh and exciting but after awhile, they lose their luster and the negatives stand out more than the positives. At this point, we've seen everything except a WS. We've experienced a million division titles, we've tasted wins in the postseason, but the one thing we crave the most is the one thing we are missing and it makes everything else feel so pointless. Last year couldn't have been setup any better for us and we still fell short.

Seriously you don’t see the Yankees or Red Sox do it Baseball is like life, timing is everything.

Their is a reason a hitter that is proven and not on a decline is rolled out every day.

Not the freaking scrubs. Scrubs had their chance earlier in the season now it’s time to shut up or produce not experimenting and keeping everyone happy.

I want to be happy running on NOS, not on electric batteries to save fuel. Getting to the show is priority at full force.

    machado...
    • “Honestly, I like how we’re playing right now,” Machado said. “Obviously it hasn’t been showing, but we’re grinding. We’re grinding pitchers. We’re getting good at-bats. Our pitchers are doing their jobs. … At the end of the day, I like where we’re at. … We’re grinding. It’s August. Not going to put any excuses out there. At this point in the year, you’ve just got to keep grinding, keep doing what we’re doing. Once we turn that corner, nothing’s going to be able to hold us back.”
    so, i guess they're grinding...

They should save grinding for LGBT night and focus on actually winning baseball games

    I see nobody sees
When he comes and when he leaves
I read it's every coaches sin
You got to lose to know how to win

Swing with me, swing out your cleats
Swing for the rafters, swing for the seats
Swing with me, just for today
Maybe tomorrow, the good Lord will take dave away
