    It sucks that right now Joc is offensively not one of the 3 best options from the OF but he is the only one who can play CF so he's gotta be out there. Not to mention his main backup, Enrique, is now the everyday 2B and it isn't worth benching Joc essentially for Callaspo

    A strong example of the value of being able to play premium positions

    Well this team hits homeruns. I'm one of the guys that bitched that losing Hanley and Kemp would create a huge power vacuum.

    I may have never been more wrong about anything in my life. I can't explain it. Not only did Kemp turn into a pile of steaming shit...the Dodgers hit homeruns...almost without Puig helping! WTF? KeKe, Ethier, Turner, Grahndal, etc.

    Kike did get in a quick peepee dance after his monster HR...I looked away, and it was over quickly. Nice game. The way it started I kind of thought it would be an uphill battle at best, but all those HRs turned that around.
    Puig does seem to be turning it around somewhat, although hard to say against this kid yesterday, who clearly didn't have it. And damn, I haven't read the JRoll hatred, so prevalent here, in a while.
    If only Joc could be part of it...it would be great. I think he is using a different bat from the usual white cave man club; it seems to be smaller (IDK-so difficult to tell on TV), and it is a black version of whatever. He seems to be making, at least, more contact lately, although not with the brute power.
    We'll see how it shakes out, if at all. We need him to start hitting... the slump has become a way of life.
