What a bad tweet. For starters, just factually incorrect. A month ago everyone was jerking off the Dodgers for trading for the consensus best pitcher on the market, and having one of the best stretches in baseball history. I'd be lying if I said I wasn't a little concerned, but ups and downs is how baseball goes. The Dodgers are still the best team in the league until further notice. Hindsight is 20/20, but this Tweet isn't even that.

Trying to be positive, maybe this game was the wake up call for the team to start getting into playoff mode? I dunno, still a month away, but we need to lock up home field everything (which we most likely do, but we are creeping towards the danger zone). I didn't watch the game, but I imagine this gave the DBacks and their fans plenty of jerk off material to last until October 1. They are probably shouting from the rooftops about how they dominate the Dodgers, even though the playoffs will be a different beast. Still the funniest thing of all would be hearing how confident they are against the Dodgers, then watch them get BABIP'd in a tough-break elimination loss to the Brewers, because baseball.
