    hitting his spots with a lot of life on his pitches
    i even commented that i think "we've" found his spot

    yeah, debatable
    thought he could have gone a little deeper but...
    if he stays in and gets shelled we all criticize roberts for not hooking him [no prostitute] earlier

    never understood the fascination with him
    had a friend in the 80's who loved him and had an extra ticket for a concert
    i passed
    so he took this chick we knew instead

    That show is the only show I can listen to, actually. It's the one show on Sports Talk Radio that doesn't take sports or themselves too seriously. There are no hot takes. Just fun.

    This is contrary to ESPN Radio, which is nothing but hot takes, social justice talk, NBA, rap music, faux psychology, and self indulgence (the not fun kind. They talk about their salaries and pat each other on the back for being so damn important).

    • If Greinke falters again, manager Torey Lovullo has nowhere else to turn. He’s pushed most of the right buttons this season, but there would be no buttons left. Ray’s not available. Walker might be, but he looked overmatched in Game 1. Next in line would be Zack Godley, but he threw five innings of relief in Game 1. That leaves Patrick Corbin, who the Diamondbacks have seemingly tried to avoid this series, and the regular bullpen arms, which include Fernando Rodney, Archie Bradley and David Hernandez. Even if the Diamondbacks survive on Monday, those are the same arms that would have to carry them through two more games. That doesn’t inspire a great deal of hope. And if we’re being honest. the only hope they might have is for the NL’s fourth-highest scoring offense to carry them through.

    In my honest opinion his moves are what have saved this team from looking real bad by not knowing exactly what his players are made of.
    Other teams have better lineups, other teams have better rotations, other teams have better relievers.
    We have a manager who knows what he has. He knows each one of his tools intimately.

    i know it was just always strange to hear people rave about what a great artist he was
    i liked born to run and songs like tenth ave freezeout, adam raised a cain, tunnel of love and probably a few more
    he had a great story and worked his ass off
    clarence was an awesome presence like you say but i just never really got it
    i think maybe it was just as simple as not liking his voice idk
    the slow songs of his make me want to shoot myself w that droning emotive thing he does
    then the whole political thing started and it was just too much fuck him
    the best artists never talk about it and leave it up to you to figure out or care about
    in the end it is only rock and roll and no one can say anything bad about his energy thats for sure
    wouldn't walk across the street to see him if he was playing for free
    well ok i might if it was free
