"Let's stand here for 10 minutes and act like we know what we are doing and stick with our original call."
Don't really like Davis either. He makes good calls on action but I find everything is too rythmic in between plays. I don't think he sucks but I just don't enjoy his style. I prefer a Vin Scully, John Miller, Charlie Steiner (as much as I rip him), Bob Costas type for baseball. Not the generic contemporary announcer. Joe Davis sounds like college basketball, not baseball to me.
Who gives a shit if it was a hit or an error. Two guys slammed into each other on a relatively easy catch - looked like an error to me.
Also, the team calling for review should only have a 30 second window and no access to replay before asking for one. More organic. Also, fucking Angel Hernandez still making calls against us with gusto.
Joc wouldn't even make it to single A in the old days. I hate this part of the modern game. I love sabermetrics, I love the shift as a defensive strategy, I love the diversity and youth of the game...but I HATE THE EFFING STRIKEOUTS!
