Wood is a limp dick! I realize it's early, but I'm not convinced he's the same guy he was when he was with Atlanta. My feeling right now is that his future is in the bullpen.
Howie getting a lot of hate. I'll focus on Alex. Total garbage pitching since he got here. I'll give the Dodgers a pass on this game as a whole. Coming off a high intensity series and traveling across country to play in front of 7 thousand people against a crap team. Win the next two and then try to get out of COL alive.
It was a poorly played, bad game...but imo, the "travel across country" excuse is as lame as a broken leg. Please...after the grand total of 14 games, we are lookng for"fatigue" reasons for that shit showing?? If that's legit, then come Sept./Oct. , the little tired millionaire guys don't stand a chance. And the small crowd as a reason is even worse...wow...talk about a stretch. A bad game is a bad game...let it pass into forgetfullness. But those excuses are just not applicable at this time of year. Wood sucked and so did the O and D. End of story. Orel gets paid to make excuses for them.

Yeah I hope Stripling gets some revenge for the no-no debacle. Also, with the Gnats losing, a win against a team we should beat would be nice.
Look, right now I think the Dodgers are probably an 88 win team. Not great, but pretty good. Nobody else in the division is going to be much better, so if we don't completely fall on our faces, we have the resources to improve and win the West. Health factors in as well. Hopefully we can add someone at the deadline that can help us in the postseason.
Winning the west is a stroke accomplishment when you know you're gonna be ousted in the DS due to lack of personnel.
