So many clutch performances. Hill looks like the real deal (but take some batting practice man), Turner still raking, BP still settling down especially Blanton and Kenley in tough situations. This is how you win the West.
how does Rich Hill not pitch for months and just come back and pitch like that. Unreal. Hope he can continue it, it would feel real fucking good to have a starter like that every 5th day Feels like forever that we've seen a game won completely cause of the pitching. The offense didn't do much, one nice home run, and the pitching dominated. I'm excited. This division is ours to lose.
Hill, Maed, Urias and hopefully Kershaw is not bad at all. Kazmir, Norris, Stripling.....in long relief.
What I been telling yall all along. We got a legit 4 pitchers that can keep us in games. Now when we bring up Puig on September 1st and have him play LF instead of RF to put less strain on his hamstrings we will have the best armed OF defense in the game. Puig Joc Reddick yikes. And all 3 will be hitting by then. Once Puig is up Redick will relax since he probably feels like he cost Puig his job and it's giving him anxiety. And the fans will probably stop killing his ear and getting into his head because thy miss Puig.
Really want these guys to close it out tomorrow. Like us, their schedule is pretty weak down the stretch, so we need to take full advantage. Worried about facing the Cubs when they get the fucking Braves
