anybody see this? Los Angeles Dodgers right fielder Yasiel Puig flashed the middle finger on both his hands in the direction of fans at Cleveland's Progressive Field on his way back to the Dodgers' dugout after hitting a two-run homer in the top of the second inning Tuesday night. Puig rounded the bases after his shot to right-center field gave the Dodgers a 2-0 lead, then celebrated briefly with teammates. While continuing toward the dugout, he raised both middle fingers. While it's unclear which fans the gesture was meant for, there is seating in the dugout suites close to home plate. The homer was the 10th of the season for Puig. It has been a relatively uneventful season for Puig, who was sent to the minors last year after he was not dealt at the trade deadline. Puig later said the stint taught him humility.
Andrew Miller had given up 0 HRs this season and had allowed 0 extra base hits to leftys this season before Bellinger's HR. Beast.
hatcher warming up roberts probably doesn't want cleveland getting too demoralized with the cavs and now this lol
For me, the HR against Andrew Miller was an exceptional event...a beautiful moment by precisely the right kid against precisely the right "unhittable" pitcher. Kismet.
I like Alex Verdugo but if you're looking for power he only has 2 HR's. Dickson hit his 16th today. Playing LF for OKC.
He has 17 HRs in 45 games, that's on pace for 61 in 162 games. Even missing 20 games he's on pace for over 50. I doubt he will keep up that pace, but 40 feels very possible this season.
