    Weather here in western NJ, I guess 90 or so miles from City, is very hot, humid, stagnant air, strato cumulus clouds everywhere in all directions. Really blows.
    But no rain, yet anyway. Rain forecasted all weekend, but didn't happen here.
    Good weather for Permian reptiles and ginko trees...

    Extra bases
    • Walker Buehler made 17 pitches off the bullpen mound Sunday, his first true test since going on the disabled list June 9 with a microfracture of a right rib. There is no indication when Buehler will return to the rotation and there seems to be no rush, as the Dodgers had expected to back off him at some point in the season to limit his innings.
