In some ways, I think i'd prefer Peraza, Speed, positional versatility and RH bat this team could need desperately depending on what happens with Puig and Kendrick. However, if Turner continues to struggle, that changes things.
I think Turner was slowing down a bit before he got hit, but getting hit obviously didn't help. Gotta work though it tho of course. I thought he'd play 2nd yesterday.
Yeah Yaz$ look bad. Don't know why DDD had to flip Crawford back to middle. They need some kinda hot stick up front. Seager's looked OK out there thus far defensively speaking. Hopefully this isn't his last game. :cliffjump:
Mattingly said Gonzalez would DH and Turner play 1B in Anaheim tomorrow. I'm no expert but that should open up 3B for Corey.
Sounds to me like Grandal doesn't have an injury physically, per se...just possibly tired, and much to everyone's dismay, simply sucking. Playing a first string catcher through an "injury" would be really stupid, even for the Dodgers.
You might be right, but I think the reasoning behind thinking the injury changed him is that he was doing great and as soon as he sat a bit for his shoulder, he's been horrible since then. It might not be an injury that requires anything but it might just be hurting him enough where he has to alter his swing just a little bit that's giving horrible results Who knows though
