I know when winning three out of four it is not kosher to remark negatively, considering bottom line and all...but that was basically an anemic offense against a very mediocre pitching staff. The RISP success is just sad... I'll take the 3 Ws though. Any day.
Its not surprising our offense looks unimpressive considering we are minus Howie, kike, puig and gonzo and turner are struggling and grandal and joc are lost in space. What is surprising is we won 3 of 4 on the road without greinke or kersh and hitting dog dick with RISP. What a debut by Seager. If kike aint coming back in time, no way can u send the kid back down.
Makes me feel better about'em. They had every excuse to split or even lose the series and didn't. #Seager4life
Was at the game and it was basically a Dodgers home game. Pads Fans lacked intensity and they were more interested in getting up and going to the concession stands...annoying as fuck... But if The Ravine had as many good food and EXCELLENT beer choices it might be the same.. Although I think our fan base is content with a shitty Michilada or bud light to quench the thirst.. Sculpin on tap is the shit though...good fun! And good win!!!
Put it in perspective. He's less than 1 per 9IP. Kershaw has 13 and Grienke has 10...so how bad is 15? Dan Haren has 30 already, Shields has 28.
I can't understand why sporting events don't offer a choice, it makes no sense...you have a captive audience, give them a variety and be surprised by the percentage who go for the high end offerings. The Durham Bulls (AAA) offer the usual beer choices, along with several North Carolina craft brews along with Lagunitas and a couple of others. I can't understand why a MLB park wouldn't do the same. I'm a poor man, I work for a living- but given the choice between domestics and crafts...I'll take the crafts every time and gladly shed the extra coin.
