I'm fine with him rolling over as long as a shortstop isn't standing there. Nice OKay it wasn't really rolled over
After being a dodo all night, I'm really glad it was Yasiel who got that hit. Good for him, the blockhead.
Fucking Giant pitching has really gelled to the point whete they can reasonably beat anyone...they are playing arguably the best team in bb into a series win for them. Gdammit.
Now I have to stay up and watch the second broadcast of Game of Thrones, since I missed the first...thank you Kenley "Blown Save" Jansen. Oh, and thanks also to Donnie Roberts who made the move and didn't have to at all.
We chose the two that we shouldn't have...at least one of either Cueto or Samardzija would have made all the difference in the world, imo. And although " he sucks", whatever money they threw at him, Greinke has all of a sudden turned it around too.
He's too good not to do an about face. Even Cain, who most thought was shot (myself among them) has strung together a bunch of good starts.
I thought Hatcher and Libatore were lucky, but JP was a tough mofo out there tonight. Excellent. Blanton, too. Strip deserved a W...finally got it.
Not really. He also had some bad luck. The ball tipping of his glove then Howie throwing it away sucked for him, but he did a great job getting out of it with two K's
It's not bad luck when you (Libertore) boot the ball first. Give him credit for the two Ks, but the final out was hit hard.
I'd have to look more into the rule book, but players (especially relief pitchers) get traded, DFA'd or injured all the time, that it's impossible to say. MLB might have to look into whether or not they did it because they didn't want Hatcher in the game, but how could they be sure? If the game needed to be finished, and Hatcher was no longer on the team, I don't have any reason to think we couldn't have someone new on the hill.
