With the SR what it is, the bp is wearing right the fuck down in front of our eyes...these Hill, Ryu, and Maeda weaklings are killing us. Hill is sad.... I can't see us being the best bp in the NL anymore. Hatcher sucks and Fields is terrible now. So far, we've avoided it.
Ugly bull pen game except for Kenley of course. A win is a win and I'll take it now let's hope for a TYPICAL Kershaw performance Monday i.e. complete game. ray:
Seriously. That thirty pitch inning killed any chance of him going more. Need a great start from Kershaw to give the pen some rest.
Kenley is a juggernaut unto himself. Spectacular. All the signs of danger are there though...without Jansen's amazing ability for shutdown, I think the pen, at this point in time, has turned an ugly corner.
Phillies fuck up (not unusual) now tied at 4 bottom of the 9th while the Gnats are ready blow it in Colorado!!!!!!!!!! Sure glad the Mets won today I can't imagine that team losing 8 in a row which could have happened if we were lucky enough to sweep them.
