Wow! fate once again, puts Broxton in the spotlight as Soria goes down with what looks like elbow surgery...far in. He gets another chance to -at least for himself, if not Dodger fans, to redeem himself. He's actully a pretty lucky guy, this behemoth. Closer boy again.
What'd he do? He was fucking fantastic last year, and he is our only shot at having a legit lefty in the pen lol
maybe its just me but he just doesn't seem to have "it" dude throws fucken cheese yet is mediocre at best anyone??? bueller???
I really don't know. Last year he was good for what he had to do but I want to say this year will be his big test. He is a little bitch though, it went pretty unnoticed that he basically stopped playing baseball last year cause he wasn't in the MLB haha but I think he'll be good at getting lefties out.
Guerra was a bitch for Santana too. If this is what we've got...bitch pitchin'... then we is in deeps trouble.
yeah Elbert has great peripherals --k rate, LOB% etc. I expect him to be a very important asset to the team especially against lefties. (.191/.267/.250 against him last year)
a single spring training outing? and you're not basing his success on one year (versus three poor ones)? a bit hypocritical, no? fuck stats, do you feel good about this guy with the game on the line? because i don't
All of spring training means nothing regardless, so yeah, I think his full season of strong pitching and his utter dominance of left handed hitters earns him a little more rope than you're giving him.
Yea I'm not too high on Elbert either. He's a guy that when he takes the mound, I hold my breath. He needs another full year as a good player for me to change my mind. Just seems like he is one outing away from mentally reverting to Jello.
